I am currently a horse trainer was previously a nanny for 2 boys on the spectrum for Autism. One is low functioning while the other is high, with OCD and anxiety. They are both very different and unique. I have experience with safe restraint needed during aggressive behaviors, talking through behaviors, noticing triggers, stopping them before they occur, behavioral psychology and I know exercises to help with daily activities. I assist the boys with everything from helping them make dinner, making their beds, to homework and chores. I am more than a nanny, I like to call myself mommy's little helper. I take the initiative in getting things done, housework, laundry, errands, taking children to and from appointments and more! I notice when meds need to be refilled, school meetings, anything important that could be forgotten. I want to be able to become apart of someone's family. I am comfortable Read more working alongside the parents or alone, I have been on away vacations, and have gone on outings alone with the children as well. I am always open to learning new things, taking classes, anything necessary to take care of your child. I also have experience with toddlers and babies. Less
