Hello! My name is Paige Kim and I am 19 years old. I am a second year undergrad student at California State University of Northridge. My major is Deaf Studies with a concentration in Deaf education and a minor in child and adolescent development. I have always loved working with children and I plan to be a kindergarten teacher in the future. I am very interested in the intellectual development of children and babies and I love doing research on fun interactive activities that can stimulate cognitive development and growth. I used to volunteer at Champions after school care at Eagle Canyon Elementary and I worked as a regular nanny for a few months with a 6 month old and a 4 year old. Other than that, all my experience with babysitting children and babies are with my family members children. I am CPR and first aide certified and I Read more have experience with first response medical care. This comes from my three years being a student athletic trainer at my high school. I have also worked at Yogurtland as an associate and Shake This as an assistant manager and have a great work ethic. I would like to spend more time in the child care field to gain more experience for my future profession. I am super good at playing dress up and tea party but I can also lend a helping hand around the house as well. I could even teach beginner American Sign Language(I have been studying the language for 6 years). I look forward to meeting you!
