I will be graduating with a BA in Psychology and a minor in Child Development at the end of May. I have been a part-time nanny for the same family near my college for a little bit over a year, since the child was 3 months old. I also have worked on and off as a substitute infant teacher at an early childhood education center for 3 years, and as a floater at the same center for infant, toddler, and preschool classes. I am CPR/First Aid certified (including the infant/toddler certification), and have the educational credentials to work as an infant/toddler and preschool lead teacher. I have also completed supervised observation hours in a toddler room and supervised internship hours in an infant room at a child development center for my undergraduate degree. In the past, I have been a camp counselor for an overnight 12-day sleep-away camp and a Read more day camp counselor during the summers. I am looking for a part time nanny/babysitting job for June 2023 until July or so 2024. During this time, I will be preparing to enter graduate school to pursue a master's degree in occupational therapy by taking pre-requisite classes and completing observation hours. The timing of my schedule is fairly flexible right now. I prefer working with infants, but am open to other ages if the fit is right! I have experience working with children of all ages.
