Meet Katie

  • Comfortable with pets

Hello! I'm Katie, a 20 year old Psychology major at Biola University with a deep love for watching children learn and grow. My extensive experience in working with children with special needs (primarily autism), has given me both patience and perspective in the way I interact with children with or without disabilities. I am a certified Montessori Assistant teacher, and I have completed the 75 hour Home Care Aide training in Washington state. I not only enjoy playing and having fun with children, but firmly believe in taking every opportunity to naturally incorporate learning about the world around us. I enjoy pets, I'm open to helping in any way I can with housework and meal prep, and love all ages of children. This summer I am located in Rancho Cucamonga, and I am available right away all through July and August.
