For the past year I have worked with 3rd and 4th grade students at Shasta State Historical Park. Teaching the children about the town's history and what it was like living back in the 1800's. Playing and planing activities with them after tours of the old town of Shasta. I have also volunteered as a counselor for a high school program called Shop Class. Shop is a camp teaching high school students communication skills, and helps with emotional support. This camp is full of amazing team building activities run by counselors like myself. At Shop camp kids leans the skill to brake down the walls of bullying in school and gain new friends and support from caring students and counselors.
