Hello my name is Hadel and I’m 22 years old. I recently graduated from UCLA with a major in Political Science and minor in Accounting. I am currently in the process of applying to law schools to pursue a career as an attorney. In my time at UCLA, I met a woman and her husband who asked if I could babysit their kids because they wanted a “sweet, smart UCLA girl” to have an influence on their children. I have 5 siblings who I have watched, taken care of, and entertained for a good part of my life so I agreed to their offer. I ended up babysitting, dog sitting, house sitting, party planning, and cleaning for this family for over 2 years. I developed such a great relationship with the kids and they always looked forward to the days I would be hanging out with them. Unfortunately, the family recently moved to Arizona which is why my time with them has ended. The woman I used to babysit for referred me to one of her friends who I now babysit for occasionally. Her kids also think I’m “such a cool babysitter” and asked their mom if I can come over more. I personally never thought I would be a good babysitter or that kids would naturally like me but after more than 2 years I now know that I was mistaken. Kids tend to love me because I’m fun, smart, sisterly, and friendly but stern. I love getting to know kids, helping them with homework, and even tidying up around the house.
