I have been babysitting and nannying for 5 years, part-time, full-time, and on and off. My most recent position of care took place in Maryland where I served as a live in nanny for 3 amazing children ages 6, 4, and 10-month-old baby over a 10month period while the family recovered from a personal trauma and awaited the return of a loved one. My duties including preparing healthy meals and snacks, pick-up and drop-off, light laundry, and light tidying. Together, we read, did homework, played educational games, spent plenty of time outside, engaged in creative activities, and developed disciplinary, organizational, and communication skills. Before this experience I generally worked as a part-time baby sitter for multiple close families in my town and most of my experiences were with three kids ranging in ages 6months-13years with the same basic duties.
