Just moved back to LA from NY where my last job was caring for two children for 4 1/2 years. My first job, at 13, was as a full-time (45-hr/wk) summer nanny. Subsequent childcare jobs range from live-in nanny to evening babysitter. I toured for two years as an actor/director with Missoula Children's Theatre, casting, directing and performing with 60 kids/week in shows all across the U.S. & Canada. I have also been volunteering for just over 15 years with a teen mentoring program in LA called WriteGirl. I just started a new parti-time after-school job, so I'm looking for weekend work to supplement that job. My interests include travel, theatre, baseball, seeing/hearing all kinds of live music, movies and reading. I love dogs…my own little pup lived a fabulous bi-coastal life and passed away last year at age 18. I am trying to re-learn French :) I’m also a Read more TV actor and acting coach. I'd love to know what your kids are interested in so that we can see where we have intersection! I genuinely adore kids--they make me think, they move me with their generosity and openness and, most of all, they crack me up with their candor and curiosity. Well, maybe the babies aren't generous or candid yet, but they ARE open and curious!
