Children are my passion! I have been working with some amazing families and students over the last seven years, and had some incredible opportunities to help out hard working families and directly engage with kids. In addition to my experience working in Oakland after school programs, I have worked in private homes as well. I have maintained three regular nanny positions, in addition to some less regular jobs. My responsibilities have included general supervision, transportation, homework assistance, activity planning and implementation, housework, nutritional needs, pet care, and active child engagement. I have worked with kids ages 2-13, and strive to maintain a fun but professional demeanor with families. I have extensive classroom experience as well, and enjoy doing homework with students. I have taught art, cooking, and science classes as well and have a wide variety of activities that can be implemented at any time, for most age groups. I believe the physical and emotional well being of the child comes first, and am very attentive and engaged. I am safe, punctual, reliable, and maintain open communication with families at all times.
