I have worked as a professional Nanny for 4 years, with over 10 years of babysitting and child caring experience. I have experience with twins and children with special needs. I have very recent experience with infants and have successfully practiced different sleep training methods. I love to create a FUN, active environment and do not use electronics as a regular tool to fill time. I much prefer READING with children, PLAYING outside or learning a new GAME! For families with toddlers, I like to do "school," as not only a time filler, but also an introductory to learning at a young age. Singing songs and coloring while focusing on specific colors, letters and numbers each day slowly ingrains the basics and prepares their minds for even more learning. I am somewhat strict in my behavioral expectations and believe in the use of time outs to help children meet them.
