I am currently a student at UC Davis pursuing a degree in English. My goal once I graduate is to become a kindergarten teacher because I love the idea of being able to work with children full time. Although I'm working as a server at a restaurant right now, I'd love to have a job where I'm able to gain experience working with children. Money at this time is less important to me than being able to really enjoy my job, and since babysitting is so much fun for me and will help me gain experience in the field I plan on entering once I graduate, I think that this is a great option for me at this time. Although I have limited experience working professionally as a nanny, I am the second oldest of 6 kids so I have plenty of experience taking care of my siblings, the youngest Read more of which is only 5. I've also volunteered in the nursery of my church and worked as a teacher's assistant to my mother, who is part of a homeschool group in which she teaches a group of 1st graders twice a week.
