Hello! My name is Serafina and I just graduated from CSUS. I'm offering child care, household and pet services. I have been a nanny and babysitter for over 10 years now, so I have a lot of experience working with most age ranges. I grew up taking care my three much younger siblings (13 year age gap) from infants until they were toddlers because my mom was a single parent. Into adulthood, I have worked with many different families watching infants, toddlers, middle school, and high school ages! I have worked at day camps as camp counselor for 4 years working with groups of 30 kids age 4-5 and 8-12. I worked as a teaching assistant at a charter school in LA for 1 year. My most recent nannying/babysitting were with a family in Oakland that I provided live-in nannying & household management rom 2017-2020. They had a 9 year old with Type 1 diabetes which was my main focus and a 14 year old. I did all of the school pick-ups and drop offs, taking them to their after school activities, managing the 9yr old's blood sugar levels and diabetes care, took care of household duties like laundry and dishes, ran all the household errands, and planned and cooked all meals (breakfast, lunch, dinner). Upon moving to Sacramento in 2020, I worked for a family for about a year with an 18month old that I watched 4 times a week while the parents were at work. I absolutely love working with kids and find it to be very rewarding. I tend to be more of an academic, I enjoy learning and teaching. In my spare time I love to cook, sew my own clothes, and read. I love playing board games and arts and crafts, I love to create things! I have 1 very cute tuxedo cat that I have had for 8 years, I grew up with both cats and dogs so I am very comfortable taking care of either. I also have some reptiles and critters I take care of.
