My first babysitting job were two girls 5 & 7 years old, one suffered from night terrors. Because we lived a couple of houses down, I was allowed to do overnight jobs and even a couple that were from one morning to the next. Made their vegan snacks and meals and got them ready and into bed at the their designated bed times. When the one with night terrors woke up I would read her a book back to sleep. I tell you this story to say my ability to care for others isn't a skill I developed, it's something I was born to do. I've loved many children during the last 23 years as young as newborn all the way up to 15 and each one knew I cared.
