Growing up my parents both worked full time so being the oldest of 4, I’d help my parents with taking care of my younger siblings. My mom was also a teacher and I believe this is the reason I’m pursuing a career in child development. I have two kids of my own so I’m experienced with childcare. I’m currently attending Hartnell College in pursuit of my AA in Early Childhood education. My goal is to open up my own daycare in the future because I’m aware of how hard it is to work while raising children and finding time for your own needs.
