My name is Curtis Looney (yep that's my real last name, lol). I am currently looking for a part time job and was just and came across your ad. I know you may be looking for a woman nanny, but in these modern days some people have "mannys" so I thought I'd give it a shot and send you a message. My whole life I've been a babysitter. In my teens through early twenties I babysat my toddler boy and girl cousins 40 hour week days over summers and holidays. A year ago me and my ex boyfriend (we are still very good friends) were trying to adopt through foster care. We became licensed foster parents. Over a year and a half we attended many many classes including positive discipline and child development among many other things. We were fortunate enough to have a teacher that had adopted a very Read more angry child and had learned and succeeded with many amazing positive techniques for positive disciplining as well as teaching the children basic daily routines. I was (may need to renew) CPR and first aid certified as well. In May of 2013 my very good friend gave birth, at home and I was there for the entire experience to help her bring into this world my amazing little God baby Wallace. He's my love!! When he was two months old she had to go back to work and I babysat him weekly from two months until about 8 months and still do when she needs. I've always loved kids and wanted some of my own but being a gay man it kind of makes it hard, haha. The adoption process didn't work out in the past but will definitely try again in the future. In the mean time I would love to possibly care for someone's child or children who need a little extra help. I currently own a very small hair salon in SF. I had owned a very large salon for the past 7 years and have recently downsized to save money and relieve some stress. I make my own schedule and am very flexible. I live in San Bruno with my tiny little chihuahua Layla Bean, so I love dogs as well. I have a car and valid drivers license but it is a tiny Smart car so not much room, though depending where you live I can take the kids for walks and such to whatever's close or borrow a car from a friend to use for the day. I have tattoos and a very expressive face, haha. Kids tend to like that. Kind of look like a cartoon character. Anyways, again I saw your ad, not sure if you're looking for a girl but thought I'd send you a message and tell you about myself as I thought I may be a good fit. Thanks for considering me.
