Hello! My name is Mia. I started career as a Special Education Paraprofessional at nineteen years old, and have been doing it full-time every since. Whilst I may be younger than most, my eight years of experience with children is anything but lackluster! I've spent the majority of my time working with children with cerebral palsy and other gross motor disabilities. I usually work with the child in the classroom as a physical aid and also as a caretaker in their homes. I wear many masks and can meet various different needs. I've learned that it takes a village to raise a child. When two parents are working full-time, however, managing and communicating with everyone in "the village" can be overwhelming. What's going on in the school? What goals are the teachers and physical/behavioral therapists setting? How is the child responding? How is s/he feeling? When parents need someone knowledgeable Read more who can accurately keep the "village" updated, they call me. I'm the middle man and the practice. Whilst the majority of my time has been dedicated to children with disabilities, I have experience with all ages of kiddos. I've worked with premies to children around 12/13 years old. Previous employers would likely describe me as extraordinarily patient, caring, enduring, reliable, perceptive, and warm-spirited. If you have any questions, please feel free to reach out! I'd love to connect!

Trustline is California's official background check for license-exempt child care providers (i.e. babysitters and nannies) and the only authorized screening program in California with access to fingerprint records at the California Department of Justice and the Federal Bureau of Investigation and access to the California Child Abuse Central Index. The Trustline registry toll-free telephone number is 1-800-822-8490.

Pursuant to Section 1596.859 of the Health and Safety Code, parents have the right to receive information regarding any substantiated or inconclusive complaint about licensed child care providers. That information is public and can be acquired by visiting the California Department of Social Services' Internet Web site at "www.cdss.ca.gov".
