About Me I am a fun-loving responsible adult looking to care for families this summer! I am looking for a position with at least 15-20 hours a week, with up to 40 hour a week. If you're interested in a longer-term commitment, I will be available for similar hours through next summer. I am taking a year off from academic life before starting a PhD program in August 2015, so during this time I would love to find a great family to care for and establish a fun and trusting relationship with. When caring for children, I try to act as a positive role model. I care how my actions may influence children I look after. I like to spend time with children outdoors - I love taking walks around the neighborhood or going to the park. On rainy days, I like to play educational games. I also always love Read more doing arts and crafts. I am a great cook and would not mind cooking for families. In past positions, I have also done housework like laundry and dishes. Experience I have been a full-time nanny for two different families. One family (three kids) I looked after in high school, and then we reconnected while I was in college. The other family (also 3 kids) I met in college and looked after their family for two summers. These were great experiences as I got to build close relationships with the kids. I also got great experiences working closely with children of varying ages, from infants to preteens. In addition to my rewarding nanny positions, I have experience with children as a cheerleading and tumbling coach, and as a summer camp counselor. Most recently, I have been CPR and First Aid certified. Also, I was a teaching assistant for infant/child development courses as a graduate student. Qualifications Adult and Pediatric First-aid and CPR certified. Teaching Assistant for Infant/Child Development.

Attempted to call Elissa on the phone to set up a babysitting job that she had responded to. She was rude on the phone, said she would call me back later in the day and then never did. Not sure why she even bothered to respond to my ad if she had no interest in the job.
