Meet Wendy
- Speaks English and Spanish
Hello, My name is Wendy. I have more than 30 years of watching/raising children. In the last 10 years, I have been with 4 families. I am fluent in Spanish and English. Prior to taking care of children I was a medical assistant. I have a West-Indies accent so when we speak or meet I don't want it to catch you off guard. I enjoy bringing structure and stability into children's lives whether it be a walk to the park, or an afternoon craft. I think it is important to keep the child's mind engaged. I prefer to limit media usage and let the parents decide how much screen time is appropriate. I have experience with twin girls and watched them grow from infants until they were both walking in separate directions. I can prepare baby food, help with potty training, naps, as well as getting children used to a Read more routine. My hobbies are cooking, baking, and I recently discovered Pinterest. I can provide my own transportation. Unfortunately, I am allergic to dogs and cats. My son is now grown and I couldn't be more proud of his accomplishments.
Trust & safety
We encourage parents to conduct their own screenings using the background check tools. See what each of the badges covered, or learn more about keeping your family safe by visiting the Trust & Safety Center.
