I am the eldest of five, an aunt to 11, and great-aunt to five. In my preteen and teen years, I was the preferred babysitter for neighbors and teachers as well. I was an executive assistant/office manager in various business offices. However, in the past, I have been paid to provide full-time child care for a 3 to 4-year-old for about a year. I also have taken a troubled teenager into our home years ago. I was a nanny for a baby boy until he started preschool.
