Hi! My name is Katie, I am 22 years old. I just moved out to San Diego due to my husband being stationed here for the Navy. I currently do all online school for my bachelors degree through University Of Central Florida. I have held a lot of different job titles, but my most recent one has been a personal caregiver for a little over 2 years now. I took care of a 98 year old woman who had full dementia and was immobile. Some of the jobs I did were basic human hygiene, toileting, getting her bathed and dressed, meal prep, feeding, giving her medication, all in all being a constant companion to her. Though I have only had a limited amount of experience with children, I think a lot of the jobs I have done as a caregiver for the elderly would be quite similar to some tasks Read more that a child would need.
