Hi! My name is Amanda and recently got married and my husband received a new job in San Diego, CA. My son and I are soon to arrive there by mid to late July and I will be ready by August to find a job. I previously was a behavioral consultant/therapist working with all ages of children and adults with my MS in Psychology. I absolutely loved my job and working with my special needs clients one on one. I love helping kids find their best selves and fostering their own abilities. Before the previous position I was a teacher for 15 years. I first started substitute teaching all grade levels, abilities, and subjects. Once my own children (twins b/g) were in school full time, I soon found a full time job using my license as a high school English and Social Studies teacher. I taught full time for 8 Read more years. I enjoyed teaching but my true passion is behavior management and psychology and working with children of all ages and abilities. Becoming a nanny, I believe would still give me the ability to use my degrees, experiences, and passion to help and serve others as well as work one on one with a few children.
