Hi there! My name is Rebecca Riegle and I am a 25 year old graduate from Cal Poly San Luis Obispo. I received my degree in Liberal Studies with an emphasis in Child Development. I have always had a passion for working with children and being creative. I currently work as a crew member at Trader Joe’s which I love, but nothing beats working with kids! Before that, I was a full-time nanny for a family with a 2 year old. This job gave me memories to last a lifetime, created a strong bond and taught me more than I ever could have imagined. I am so grateful for this experience. When I first moved to San Diego in 2021 I was a Preschool teacher for 1-2 year olds. This job gave me a priceless experience that consisted of teaching, play time, nap time, feeding and changing every single day. Read more In college, I worked at Cal Poly's Children's Center caring for children of professors and students. I worked in a classroom with 2 and 3 year olds and in the infant classroom. Here I learned so much and truly enjoyed all the time I spent at work with the kids. In my free time, I love to get outside and explore nature, wether it be walking at the beach or hiking in the mountains! I also love spending my time with hands on activities, such as; painting, knitting and cooking. I believe getting outside and being creative are important aspects of life that should be enjoyed by everyone. And I think it is equally important to get children exploring these aspects as soon as possible. As a sitter, I want to not only get the job done right but, get children's creativity flowing and have their time spent making fun memories.
