Hi I'm Shannon! I am 47 years old. I am a mother of a wonderful 11 yr old son. He goes to school year round so his schedule won't be a problem. I have over 10 years experience of being a nanny and 36 years of experience being a babysitter. I have always loved kids and am really good with them! I always watched my 3 younger brothers and cousins since a very young age. I babysat for many people in our church growing up. I babysat for people all throughout college while I went to Point Loma Nazarene University. I have a BA in I.O. Psychology. I was a nanny/house manager for a family for 7 years. The boy was 4 years old when I started with them. I was a nanny long term for 3 more families who all had infants, toddlers, and a 6-year-old girl. I was Read more with all families for 1 to 2 years each. I also have been a babysitter for a family with 2 boys their whole lives and they are now 9 and 12. I have great references. I have a perfect driving record and would be happy to show proof of that and I will easily pass a background check. I don't mind cooking, driving, errands, light housekeeping, helping with homework, etc. I am also great with pets, especially dogs however I am allergic to cats. I am looking for full time work only. I usually charge $25 an hour for one kiddo and $30 an hour for 2 or 3 but am willing to talk about that.
