Hello Families! I am a Montessori Preschool Teacher who has been living in Australia and have recently returned home to San Diego. I'm looking for some casual and/or occasional babysitting as I settle back into American life. While living in Australia for ten years, I also worked as a professional nanny. I was fortunate to work for the same family for 6 years, supporting two young children in their learning and development from 0 - 7 years, those early years before school are so special. The Montessori philosophy is naturally embedded in my personalty and communication style, I am naturally patient and considerate and love to embed fun practical life activities in our days (like gardening). My most recent work experience includes running a classroom of 22 children aged 3 - 6 years old and guiding them on their learning journey through the Montessori curriculum. I am quite active myself and love swimming, running and exercise and am happy to facilitate outdoor adventures for your children. I am a big dog lover and am happy to assist with care for family pets. I consider myself a foodie and love teaching children about health and delicious meals by encouraging them to apply their skills while assisting in food preparation (slicing fruit, grating carrots).
