Hi my name is Dawn. I have been caring for children for more than 16 years and I have my Associates Degree in Child Development. I have experience caring and nurturing for children ranging from infants to school age. I started my professional career in child-care about 23 years ago in the preschool setting caring for infants and toddlers. I have ample experience creating and implementing developmentally age-appropriate activities. I believe children learn about themselves, others and the world around them through exploration. I am not the type of person to sit back and watch children play; I get involved in their play and take my cues from them and their interests. It's important to get down on a child's level and interact with them, whether it's sensory play and getting messy or building blocks with them.
