Hello! My name is Janá (pronounced Janay :)) and I am so excited to meet you and your beautiful family! Some things about me that you may be interested to learn are... 🎓 Graduated from San Diego Mesa College in May of 2021 with an Associate of Science Degree in Human Biology. 💫 I have cared for children since the age of nine years old (yeah the 80’s were crazy lol) and I still love it!! I have 3 children, two of which are now adults and my youngest is now 12. After I completed my Associate of Science degree I became a Behavior Technician for children on the spectrum. That was an amazing experience that I miss so much. During my employment as a Behavior Technician I was offered a job in child education and took it! From there I became a Teacher's Assistant. I am a full time Read more nanny for an amazing little boy and care for my Momma 1-2 days per week in a convalescent home practicing speech, physical/occupational therapy, feeding and hygiene care. 🐈🐕🐍🐢The list of animal experience is a bit overwhelming, lol. Cats, dogs, rodents (even hedgehogs), exotic and laying birds, reptiles, insects. Yes, I have experience with many animals and am not squirmish of much. Except cockroaches, those are gross 😬but I have cared for those as well. ❤ No matter what path I have chosen in life, it has and continues to involve the care, development and happiness of others. The amount and level of skill I hold in this field is far too much to list. From newborn-senior, animal babies too I do it all. I specialize in behavioral and developmental concerns in any age and have 10+ years experience with kiddos with disabilities. Oh, TONS of experience with food sensitivities/allergies as well. 😋A little about me: Super outgoing and hilarious (at least kids think so, lol). I love to be silly and have fun, it is like the best part of this job! Cooking is a huge love of mine, snorkeling, swimming, hiking, skateboarding, bicycle riding, softball, drawing, painting, crafting, sewing, sculpting, learning, reading, animals, insects, games, random fun facts…I like all the things ;) ❗️Adult, child and infant CPR certified. I have had a federally cleared background check within the past 6 months and am a registered health care provider through Easterseals.
