I am a recent college graduate who is fluent in both English and Spanish. I have been so lucky as to work with kids for as long as I can remember. My first job was babysitting which I did for years. I usually watched up to four kids which included a variety of responsibilities. I would cook for the kids, help with homework, change them, and out them to bed. After my time babysitting I started coaching recreational kids sports. Recently, I was a lifeguard for a children’s aquatic center were I because CPR/ AED certified and learned so much about water safety. In my last semester at college I did and internship as an after school teacher at an elementary school where I was, at times, in charge of 20 children. This internship let me help children with homework, prepare snacks, plan activities and help with any issues. Through Read more my internship I have learned how to build trust and a fun, expressive environment. The main reason I love getting to work with kids is because their wonder about the world is so special. It’s amazing watching kids learn about become their own people.
