I've been a babysitter for over 9 years now. I started out with neighborhood children then worked my way to family friends. I was a part-time nanny for 2 children ages 2 weeks and 1-year-old for 3 years. While looking after the children, I made meals, followed a nap time routine, and cleaned. The next family I worked with had a 2-month-old baby that I looked after for 5 months. While I cared for the baby, I handled light housework and followed a schedule involving enriching activities, meals, and nap times.
