Hi! My name is Chelsea and I’m a recent SF transplant. I am attending SFSU to pursue my BA in Psychology with a minor in Education. I’m the oldest of six children and currently work part time with children with developmental disorders as a Registered Behavior Technician. I have experience as an overnight nanny and as well as experience as a household manager for a very busy mom and dad. My duties included transporting families to and from school and after school activities, supervising outdoor/pool time, homework and project help, preparing meals for dinner for the whole family, bathing, running errands, cleaning, and providing a hug and some comfort when necessary. I also have experience as a classroom aide(K-3), a summer camp counselor, and as a reading/writing tutor. I am currently CPR and first aid certified and hold a spotless driving record. I love to engage little ones in learning Read more at every opportunity whether it be through art, music, reading, or simply using the world around us. The nature of the field I’m in means that I am calm and collected as well as very engaging and exciting. I currently live near Twin Peaks and I plan on living in the city for at least the next three years. My end goal is to complete my PhD in Behavior Analysis and research Autism Spectrum Disorder and related disorders.
