Hi There My name is Sarah and I am looking for a full-time nanny position. I am originally from South Africa, but have been living in the Bay area for 8 years. I originally moved here to work as an Au pair, Where I lived with an amazing family taking care of their 5 month old infant. She was the sweetest little girl and I thoroughly enjoyed the experience. After my contract ended I worked for a really great family in the financial district taking care of their two little ones. At the time the little girl was 6months old and the little boy was almost 2. I worked for the family for almost 3 years, up until they moved to Seattle 2 years ago. Whilst working for them, the children and I enjoyed exploring the parks, playgrounds, museums, libraries and children's centers around the city. I also cooked, did Read more laundry ran errands and did light cleaning around the house. For the past 2 years I have been working at a well known daycare center in the downtown area taking care of infants 3mo-14mo. I first started as a part-time teacher but am now full-time. A usual day consists of cleaning, meal-prep, diaper changing, laundry and nap times. Throughout the day we engage in a multitude of fun activities which include tummy-time, sensory play activities, problem solving activities as well as reading, singing and music. Though I thoroughly enjoy being a teacher, and spending time with 12 adorable infants, I do miss being a nanny and hope to find a great family to nanny for again.
