I was born and raised in San Francisco to a single mom of three along with a household of five other residents including two other children. The adults in the house were always working to support us so it was up to the kids to keep the house tidy and take care of one another. Besides washing the dishes, sweeping the floors, mopping up and maintaining the overall household appearance I was also in charge of taking care of my youngest cousin who is 10 years younger than me. After all the hard work feeding, diaper changing, napping, playing and spending time with her I realized how enriching the experience was and how much made an impact on me. I realized that I truly enjoyed babysitting her and establishing such a genuine relationship being able to watch her grow and develop into a completely wonderful human being. Now that I Read more am older and since moved out of my childhood home, I've decided to pursue nannying because I understand how busy parents are, I understand just how much work is required to look after infants/toddlers, but most of all I now understand that this is a job I find truly gratifying and am skilled at. What I lack in training I can confidently say I make up for in self-discipline and character. I work hard to go above and beyond to provide the best relationship between nanny, parents, and child. I have a good eye for tidying, I have a friendly, positive, and professional demeanor and I want to give back by pursuing a career that lends a hand those busy parents who so often remind me of my single superhero mom as well as the infants/toddlers who remind me so much of my little cousin.
