Hello, I had the opportunity to teach kindergarten and fifth grade through a teaching internship during my Junior and Senior years of high school. I got to know the children through the lessons and activities that I prepared, grading papers, and class discussion. I went every day to the elementary school for two years. I am currently gaining residency in California in order to continue my major in Education. Through a summer camp, I taught swim lessons six days a week for three months. I had the privilege of teaching kids ages 6 months-12 years old. Over my child care career, I have babysat for several local families with children anywhere between newborn and elementary age. I work very well with newborns-toddler aged children. I love being given the opportunity to interact with children so that I can provide a fun and safe environment for their creativity to grow.
