My name is Hailey Lindsay, I am 24 years old, and I have been living in San Francisco for over six years. I am an abstract artist, and a nanny who has been specializing in infant and toddler care for the past 2 ½ years. In May 2021, I graduated from CCSF with an A.A. in Liberal Arts & Humanities. I would love to go back to school in the near future to obtain my B.A. in Humanities with a minor in Museum Studies. I love to read (Stephen King is my favorite), garden, play the clarinet, knit, and indulge in other creative hobbies. I also have a 5yo lab-pit mix and 2 RES turtles. I’m a member of the Hunters Point Shipyard Artists community, and I can speak French moderately. I drive a 2012 Kia Optima, so transportation will not be a problem. I have my COVID-19 Moderna vaccinations Read more and am double-boosted. I am easy going, organized, attentive, loving, reliable, punctual, and loyal. Since the end of November 2021, I have been taking care of a little boy who is now 16 months. In June 2022, the family moved to Mill Valley, where I began working full-time. My responsibilities include feeding, changing, bathing, reading, engaging him in stimulating and educational activities, and daily walks and trips to the park, as well as light housekeeping and occasional errands for the family. I also have experience introducing solid foods, and helping accomplish physical/mental developments and milestones. From September 2021 until June 2022, I was also watching a 3yo toddler and his two sisters who were 9yo & 10yo. Here, I would drop the girls off at school and pick them up, and help them with homework at the end of the day. Most of the day was spent watching the 3yo; we would have breakfast, outdoor time, indoor play, story time, lunch, and nap time. I assisted with his potty training, helped take care of the dogs throughout the day, and helped the family with light house chores and laundry. When the 3yo started attending daycare, I would assist in pick up and drop off. My childcare experience officially started in 2020, when one of my best friends had a baby during the pandemic. I would go to her house several times a week to help her out, and this is when I learned that I wanted to be a nanny. I also babysat for friends and neighbors growing up, and have three sisters whom I grew up very close to, further adding to my knowledge of child rearing. Thank you!
