Hi! My name's Alex and you probably have seen me around the bay area as I am literally everywhere working! My experience with kids is vast. I have been looking after kiddos for years now and fully understand how they work and what they truly need. Experience: -3 years babysitting Sarah starting when she was 6 years old. Sarah was a very energetic little girl. There was always something new and fun and exciting she wanted to do. So, of course never a boring moment. With her, I made sure to always keep her hydrated and with healthy and yummy snacks nearby to maintain that level of energy. Also, since I am a creative soul myself, I made sure to advertise activities, games - especially those where we can get out our energy physically as well! -7 years babysitting Sebastian since 4 years old. But when he was excited about something, he would glow. Strategically gravitating towards what he likes, it made also helping him understand his school concepts much easier. When you can make the schoolwork like a game it is more bearable, and can be actually fun and then at the end you get a reward! -1 year babysitting Theresa I currently babysit Theresa part-time. She has many needs and demands for a little girl. I notice she needs a gentle but firm approach to help her. When she is starting to feel upset, I always make sure to pinpoint where and ease her discomfort by bringing in a positive counter-active approach. She usually is able to understand quickly and continue with whatever is at hand happily. A lot of patience is required and it is my ultimate joy to show that kind of love to her continually.
