Hi! My name is Ellen and I have lived in San Francisco for two and a half years now! I have always admired children's willingness to explore, and the natural curiosity with which they approach the world. From my studies in Education at Skidmore and from having now taught in two Montessori-based curriculums in mixed-aged classrooms, I’ve learned to meet my students where they’re at—even if that’s on the floor. How, I ask myself, can I help them develop that flexibility of the mind that is so important to how they will learn to encounter themselves in the world? When I'm not teaching, I'm visiting SF's many parks and enjoying the sunshine with my latest novel and an iced coffee :) I am eager to become a nanny and bring my classroom experience to a more individualized setting with your family!
