I grew up in Summit, New Jersey. As my parents were both active members of my community, (my dad owns a dental practice and my mom is a reading specialist at a local elementary school,) I became involved in many community functions both as a kid and as a young adult. I spent my late high school and early college career as an EMT-B with an interest in pursuing a career in the medical field. I have a twin sister who is a Physicians Assistant, so an interest in medicine definitely runs in the family. I am a recent college graduate, and am always eager to learn and get involved with new things. Having double majored in English and Exercise Science, I am interested in peoples stories as they relate to their journeys of health, happiness and wellbeing.
