I have long history of working with children, as a nanny, babysitting , working with preschool children at Art school and many years of volunteering. I'm CPR certified, and with 17 years working as surgery assistant has given me the knowledge to be able to assess critical situations and act accordingly. In Canada, after arriving from Czechoslovakia and working with a family of 3 children for 2 years, the opportunity to learn how to become a Oral Surgery assistant arose, I found what my passion was, and I stayed in that profesion until I gave birth to my daughter. Since I wanted for my daughter to be involved with sports, I got a job at my tennis club at the nursery where I worked while she had tennis classes. This is where I found how much I enjoy working with children, especially with arts and crafts. Therefore, when I was Read more approached with the opportunity to open Art school for children, I didn't hesitate. In New York, I regularly babysat a boy and his sister for over two years, making it hard to say goodbye when we moved to Washington state. In Tacoma, Wa. I got very involved with volunteering at my daughter's school, and I enjoyed it so much that although my daughter is in a Highschool now , I still try to volunteer when ever I can. My daughter always enjoyed when I took a group of children on a hiking trip or gave a cooking lesson at home. Two years ago I started to work on my own company, Cooking for yogis, where I was able to express my passion for cooking. Especially for healthy food. In our business, we are offering yoga, meditation,mindfulness and healthy cooking classes. Due to unfortunate medical reasons my partner has to take some time off, pausing our business.
