I live in San Jose with my husband and sons. I have years of experience in the nanny field and I'm the loving mom of 3 boys, ages 25, 14 and 10. I have coverage for my younger ones while I work. I've worked through nanny agencies as well as getting a lot of my nanny jobs through referrals. I am a happy and positive person by nature, I love life, and I've often been told that shows through! I chose this as my career after being a babysitter for 4 children in 1986, when I was just 16 years old. The parents went through a divorce during my time with them, and the children really leaned on me and we got very close. (I'm still in touch with them today and some of them have their own children!) I kept the children very busy that summer, with trips to the beach and the park, baking, games of hide and seek (which I still love to play!) and other fun and distractions. I have years of nanny experience working with all ages of children. I've done part time care, full time care, on call care, after school care, and nanny share. I've recently taken a year off to be with my own family full time, and I'm now ready to get back to work part time.

Marleen was wonderful. She obviously loves kids. She showed up on time and took great care of my energetic 1 year old. I really appreciated how she made extra effort to make sure my son ate the right food and drank his milk. She even cleaned up after him!
