Hello Parents, Children tell me “YOU ARE THE BEST NANNY WE HAVE EVER HAD”. I am a trained and certified professional nanny/family assistant with 25 years experience taking care of children of all ages and managing household needs. I’ve also worked as a lead nursery teacher for two churches in Palo Alto, for nine years. I am CPR/First Aid certified, fully vaccinated, do not smoke or drink, background checked and fingerprinted, US citizen, speak three languages, drive a new car with a clean driving record, I am mature, educated/artistic, cheerful personality, patient, reliable, responsible, energetic, punctual, and a safe nanny; but above all, I am children's best friend. A typical day with infants and toddlers … I put them on a schedule (as much as possible). Aside from providing excellent basic care, I wash bottles, make baby food, floor play, take them for stroller rides, to parks, sing, dance, I read Read more to them and teach them how to read, teach them the numbers, shapes, letters, coloring, play dough, help them with crawling, walking, and many more activities. I comfort them when they are sick or teething. For school-age children ... I make breakfast, pack lunch, drive them to school, take care of the household chores, shopping, cooking, then I pick them up from school, give them snacks, play with them, help them with homework, play date, go to parks, take them to after school activities, doctor’s/dentist appointments until parents come home. When children are napping or in school, I make lunch/dinner, help with household chores, i.e., dishes, making beds, laundry, keeping the house clean/organized, dealing with contractors, run errands; and f parents are in need of a date night, or need time to themselves on the weekends, or need help with parties, I can help with that too.. Thank you for your time and consideration, in advance. I am available to start a full time position or two part time jobs as of October 1st, I can provide excellent references upon completion of a successful interview. Kind regards, Mary

I am so happy to have found Mary on sittercity! She was highly recommended by her current employer for whom she nanny's full time. Mary watched our 10 month old boy and as soon as she arrived he was comfortable with her and went straight to her arms. Mary spent all day with our baby and followed our routine as requested. She took him for a walk and sent some sweet photos of their time together. When we came home our baby was very calm and happy. Thank you Mary!
