Hello families! I am an extremely energetic, dependable, and honest person. I am able to offer in home daycare. I have 4 children: Samara-5; Micah-3; Keira&Sayla-1. I home school my children; so any child we are care taking for in our home can also participate in our daily lessons. We are a very active family. Daily outings, activities, play group play dates: it's important for children to socialize and learn to play together and problem solve. When growing up my mom was bed ridden and my sisters and I had to maintain the household chores. I am great at multi-tasking and can cook/bake/bbq! Your kids will never be sitting in front of the TV when I'm with them, we will be practicing motor development, crafts and having fun! I am infant/child/adult CPR and first aid certified. I have taken many ECE (early childhood education) classes. I also have an endless list of GREAT references. I love challenges! I have coached/taught/babysat for every type of personality. The challenge always is how do I communicate with each child effectively? Every child responds differently to various disciplinary/teaching methods. As I learned in my ECE classes, a caretaker must use D.A.P. (Developmentally Appropriate Practice) for each child. I know how to adapt and switch things up and handle challenges. I love working with children. I love keeping them active and watching them grow. I enjoy nannying and helping out other families that need a break. It is rewarding for me to build a trusting bond with each child that I come into contact with. I do this through establishing mutual respect as a friend and caretaker.

Ashley babysat for us so that we could attend a long awaited concert. She did a wonderful job of feeding our son and putting him to bed. She took him to the park before bedtime and he was still asleep at his normal time. She was very accommodating when we were stuck out later than we had intended. She texted us to make sure that everything was ok when we were late. As soon as I let her know that we were going to be late, she was perfectly happy to stay. We will definitely be using Ashley again for our babysitting needs.

We have been working with Ashley for three months and LOVE her! More importantly our son (who is three) loves Miss Ashley. Ashley has proven herself to be amazingly trustworthy, considerate, consistent and reliable. Ashley obviously takes a lot of pride in her job as a nanny and always finds fun and exciting things to do with our son. Ashley always maintains a perfect balance of fun and educational games and play. Ashley has a natural gift with children - they listen to her and respect her. Personally as a mother I have enjoyed watching Ashley with my son. She is always consistent and age appropriate with discipline. She always listens to our son and treats him with respect and love.
