I've been nannying since I was 13 years old and, since I'm almost 40 (yikes! How'd that happen?!), I have close to 35 years of childcare experience. Though I have specialized with infants and toddlers, I have worked with all ages. I currently homeschool my own 7 & 8-year-old children, so I have real-life parenting experience. I find being a mom makes me a more aware, helpful, and understanding nanny. I also coach basketball to 8 & 9-year-old boys, which has sharpened my skills in this age group. My core values as a nanny are safety, being reliable, following through on commitments, and being helpful & playful. I value giving children chances to safely explore outside their comfort zone. I currently work with a family in the Santa Cruz Mountains TU and TH from 230-530, but this job is likely to end when school is out for the summer.
