I am just reentering the childcare field after many years as a elder caregiver. I have been studying to become a Doula after working with several women thru pregnancy and Post Partum. I started baby sitting when I was 9 years old for a newborn and a 2 1/2 year old makeing .50 an hour. I cleaned house, did laundry and sterlized bottles,and in those days washed many diapers. We even made them from printed flannel fabric. We've come a long way, baby. Next was the family next door with 6 children, from infant to 2 years younger then I.
