Hi! My name is Brettney and I am 26 years old. I graduated cum laude with a Bachelors of Science Degree in Child Development, and just completed a Master's certificate program to become a Social and Emotional Behavioral Regulation Intervention Specialist at San Diego State University. (That is a fancy way of saying that I specialize in early childhood mental health and behavior.) I love having fun with children, and I feel that my my main strength comes from my background in early childhood education. I have been a teacher for most age levels, from infants to twelfth graders. I love being with children and understand the balance between having fun and setting limits. As a preschool teacher, I have learned the importance of discovery through play and am experienced in creating an engaging and well-rounded curriculum. I am very creative and love music, art, and science. Your child will Read more definitely have some new project or song to show you when you get back home. Additionally, I have experience as a tutor and would be willing to help with homework or any educational needs your child has. I have a passion for education, so while your child is with me I will make sure to create fun activities that also help them build and develop any areas that need more focus. Please feel free to message me if you have any questions or need further clarification. Thank you!
