My name is Emilee. I'm an enthusiastic, responsible, well experienced nanny with active family references residing in the Danville/Blackhawk/Alamo/San Ramon community for the past 6 years. I am college educated with experience in Early Childhood Education addressing Child Development and Child Psychology. I am currently working part time in Danville as a part time nanny for a heart-warming family with a 6-year-old girl and a 16-year-old boy. I have been caring for them since the youngest was only an infant. The mom works from home and we share a wonderful team effort approach towards helping care for the kids and communicate fantastically! I have been a positive role model and mentor for the children, always practicing good manners and showing respect. It is a very rewarding experience to observe how children learn and communicate in a well mannered behavior. I engage in learning activities such as baby sign language, ABCs, Read more counting numbers, shapes, colors, animal sounds, nursery rhymes, creativity in art, imaginative play, musical instruments and song singing on a daily basis to practice consistency and encourage growth. I help assist with daily practice of cleanliness and hygiene, potty training, healthy eating, simple exercises, motor skill games, cleaning up and morning/bedtime routines. I offer math, reading and writing tutoring services for school age children PreK through 8th grade intermediate school. I am very familiar with Kumon, a highly credited teaching institution and their tutoring techniques and can help your child practice consistency in retaining information and following procedures while utilizing a fun, positive approach. I am a lover of arts and crafts, creativity, positive encouragement. I like being present and listening and playing during the child's daily activities. I encourage imaginative indoor and outdoor activities on a daily basis. My duties include assisting with family errands, child's transportation to classes and activities, meal prep/cooking and light cleaning such as laundry, dishwasher care, sweeping, vacuuming, tidying family rooms and kid's play areas. Overall, I am a very genuine, responsible, reliable nanny with a gentle, nurturing approach, who will strive to give the highest quality of care for your family, and most importantly, your children's needs!
