My first job as a nanny/babysitter, I served a family with seven children. Three were in high school, one middle school student, two elementary students, and one infant. Although the children that were in high school were capable of taking care of themselves, and the infant went to work with their mother, I was the head of the house between the hours of 2 PM and 7 PM Monday through Friday. I was in charge of picking up the kids from school, taking them to their extra curricular activities, making snacks, helping with homework, oversee their chore duties, make dinner, and tend to their dog. I became extremely attached to these children, but then the family moved out of state. My second family that I cared for I had the same duties. On the side I also babysat for families on the weekend. I got a job at the college Read more I am attending but that is soon coming to an end and really want to get back into care-giving, my first love. Nothing brings me more joy than taking care of people, after all, I am majoring in psychology and plan on being a child psychologist.
