I am a graduated ASL interpreter who fell into special education from the school district I was interpreting for. I have 4 years expierence working with children with special needs. I have been a one-on-one behavioral aide in a moderate/severe elementary school setting with direct instruction and training from a Board Certified Behavioral Specialist. Currently, I am NCPI certified along with indepth knowledge of ABA therapy. Ever since I started working with special needs I have been inspired to pursue a teaching career in Special Education. Teaching and working with children has always been a natural strong characteristic in me and continually enjoy volunteering at Special Olympics annually. My students are my inspiration to be an influential role model to anyone I come across. I strive to make all educational settings fun, comfortable, appropriate, and successful to the pupil as well as beneficial to everyone else.
