Hello My name is Aeryka Jackson I began my journey of childcare through babysitting at the age of 16. I started by watching my siblings for my parents. From there I expanded by babysitting sitting for my neighbors and other family members. Now at the age of 21 I have experience working with kids from as young as 8 months to 16 years old. I also have experience with working in a daycare. Over the past summers Ive volunteered working at a family daycare that I grew up in. With that I gained more skills and experience to watching over children. I am CPR and AED certified and trained. I am also a CPR trainer under the company SAVE A LIFE CPR. I am currently attending college at Ashford University and majoring in Child Development and Special education. Currently I work as a Behavioral Therapist for children with severe behavioral Read more disabilities. Occasionally I do 24hr Homecare for adults with disabilities as well. Art is one of my many passions and when I babysit I like to have fun with the kids. Make crafts, play games, outdoor activities, etc. I love to go on trips and just enjoy myself with my family and friends and even the children I care for. I try to make every child's experience with me a happy and enjoyable one. I love kids and I would really love the opportunity to continue to gain more experience. While working towards my goal of opening my own daycare facility. Being able to care, educate and spread my love of art and creativity. I care for and treat every family as if they are my own. And hopefully sitting your child I can be apart of your family too.
