I am currently looking for a family who needs a summer nanny June through August. I am a professional nanny with over 15 years of nanny experience. I have worked with children from 3 months to 15 years of age and have worked with up to four kids at a time. My experience has included after school care, meal preparation for children, diapering and toilet learning, finding appropriate activities for kids, teaching kids to be self sufficient, and homework help for the older children. I've worked with a variety of different parenting styles and can cater my nanny style to be inline with your parenting style. I value healthy eating habits with children and help encourage it through cooking projects, meals, and if time and space allow small garden projects. I value outdoor play at parks, beaches, or in the forest. I've taken children on hikes (including a 6 month Read more old), bike rides, and to pump tracks. Personally I enjoy mountain biking and have raced in many downhill races, including nationals. I've been biking across California and in Whistler. I have goals of mountain biking in Germany, Austria and New Zealand. Another passion of mine is cooking, I cook and plan nearly every meal I eat and I like to get kids involved in the kitchen with me. I also value travel and experiences over material possessions. Some of my international travels have included: Whistler, Canada; Mexican resorts; Caribbean and Mexican Cruises; Hamburg, Munich, Cologne, Frankfurt, Berlin- Germany; Vienna, Austria; Brussels, Belgium; London, England; and Amsterdam, Netherlands-- I plan on adding more in my future. I'm graduating from SJSU May 2020 with my BS in Communication Studies. I'm also now a mom to R, Sep 2021, they accompany me to work.
