Aloha, My name is Kim and I just recently moved from Kauai, HI to Santa Monica with my family. I am a California credentialed teacher and have uber experience teaching both as a lead classroom teacher and a specialty teacher for 25 years. The last five years in Kauai, HI., I served as a specialty cross curricular drama teacher to over 800 students in K-5th grade. This awesome job enabled me to have a tremendous positive influence on my students and their confidence levels while intergrading reading, writing, problem solving, creative brainstorming, and other various subjects etc. all the while having fun. I have worked with children all my life and have a great rapport with them. I have two amazing kids of my own, one who I'm proud to say has grown into a lovely young lady & is supporting herself here in Venice and another who has just Read more entered the 6th grade and is both funny and sweet. Needless to say, it was difficult to leave paradise, but our family desired to be closer to our eldest daughter and it was time for a change all together.
