I have been working with young children for several decades. Still, i find these children to be so refreshing. I come with a BS in Early Childhood & Elementary Education. Plus LIFEWAYS (Waldorf Early Childhood) & RIE (Resources for Infant Educarers) trainings. I do not consider my work to be 'babysitting.' I am a teacher of Early Childhood age children. And prefer to work privately rather than in schools/daycare. My focus is on the areas of primary development of babies, toddlers, preschoolers. Which is physical development, emotional development / well-being, communication skills, socialization skills. Tho this intro may seem academic, i am not an academic. I am very maternal and in tune with children, sensitive to their subtle cues of expression, needs, etc. I create my own learning/living environment from my home with one or two children/siblings. This includes outings in the community to local parks, playgrounds, nature trails. Our Read more day is child-centered regarding activities and scheduling. I value organic whole foods & remedies. My strength is working with challenging children who may be disruptive, have behavioral / emotional issues. My rate is $20/hr. one child. $25/hr two children.
